Due to BWU’s constant media monitoring from various reliable local medias outlet, (61)women were killed from 1st -30th November 2024 across the country. Among them (37) women lost their lives due to the military airstrike, (16) were killed due to military artillery shelling targeting civilian homes and villages, (5) were extrajudicial killing by the military terrorists, (2) were due to landmines, and (1) were fired by the military tyranny. Additionally, (63) women were injured; (42) were by the airstrike, (16) were artillery shelling, (2) were extrajudicial killing, (2) were raped, and (1) woman was killed by fire. Shan (North) had the highest number of women wounded (11) in November due to an airstrike.
