Statement of the Second Conference
Date: 14th August 2024

1. The second conference of the General Strike Committee of Nationalities was successfully convened in 2024 with 53 members representing 19 nationalities.
2. General Strike Committee of Nationalities (GSCN) was established on the 11th of February 2024 to represent various nationalities in the people’s movement against the coup d’etat to end all forms of authoritative regimes, to abolish the 2008 constitution and to demand unconditional release of all victims of arbitrary arrest and persistently pursuing all possible means since to achieve federal democratic union over three consecutive years. Additionally, the General Strike Committee of Nationalities has significantly contributed to the formation of an all-inclusive coalition body in accordance with the Freedom Declaration it released and tirelessly kept pursuing the resistance movement under the third provision of the Freedom Declaration.
3. A consensus decision has been made during the second conference of GSCN to transform the General Strike Committee of Nationalities (GSCN) into the Generations’ Solidarity Coalition of Nationalities (GSCN) to reflect the extensive political movements that the strike committee is involved in the political reform.
4. Political resolutions made in the first conference were reviewed during the second conference and developed recommendations for the formulation of strategic action plans for the further implementation of visions, values, principles, mottos and political goals echoing the raison d’etat of General Strike Committee of Nationalities.
5. The second conference of GSCN has reformed the institutional structure to embrace the fuller essence of the political entity by restructuring the central committee and central executive committee with representatives of nationalities.
6. We hereby declare that we, nationalities will endure our duties of resistance to serve the vision of GSCN to “ensure the establishment of new federal democratic country for the best interest of the whole union through collective efforts all nationalities.
