Human Rights Groups Urge Taiwan Gov’t Not To Repatriate Burmese

The Taiwan Association for Human Rights and other local and overseas human rights groups have issued a joint open statement to Taiwan’s National Immigration Agency asking for protections for Burmese people. They say it would violate international human rights laws to forcibly repatriate them to a country under martial law.
