Press Release by United Nationalities Federal Council Central Executive Committee (Extended) Meeting

The United Nationalities Federal Council (UNFC) Central Executive Committee (extended) held a meeting from January 6 to 8. The meeting reviewed the UNFC’s general work programs as well as the current peace building process and laid down the future work programs.
With regard to the peace building program, the Delegation for Political Negotiation (DPN) has been negotiating for its 9-point proposal with the government’s Peace Commission (PC), and the top leaders of the two sides are to meet and consult for achieving results on the final points, in deadlock, and endeavor will be made to find also other approaches.
