Hundreds of innocent journalists, human rights defenders, activists, Facebook users, protesters, and politicians have been arrested, charged, and sentenced under Myanmar’s incitement laws for exercising their right to freedom of expression and opposing the coup. 

The Incitement Toolkit empowers defendants, lawyers, and their civil society supporters to defend themselves against allegations of incitement as part of an incremental resistance against Myanmar’s deeply unjust legal system.

The Incitement Toolkit includes guidance on: 1) relevant international standards; 2) the situation and laws in Myanmar; 3) your rights and options when detained, arrested, or charged; 4) potential legal defence strategies. Each page is written in Myanmar but repeated in English to enable you to research further and communicate with different audiences too.

ရာနှင့်ချီသော အပြစ်မဲ့သတင်းထောက်များ၊ လူ့အခွင့်အရေးကာကွယ် သူများ၊ တက်ကြွလှုပ်ရှားသူများ၊ Facebook အသုံးပြုသူများ၊ ဆန္ဒထုတ် ဖော်သူများနှင့် နိုင်ငံရေးသမားများသည် ၎င်းတို့၏ လွတ်လပ်စွာထုတ် ဖော်ပြောဆိုခွင့်ကို ကျင့်သုံး၍ စစ်အာဏာသိမ်းမှုကို ဆန့်ကျင်ခြင်း ကြောင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ သွေးထိုးလှုံ့ဆော်မှုဆိုင်ရာ (လှုံ့ဆော်မှုဆိုင်ရာ) ဥပဒေများအရ ဖမ်းဆီးခြင်း၊ တရားစွဲဆိုခြင်းနှင့် ပြစ်ဒဏ်ချမှတ်ခြင်း ခံခဲ့ရသည်။  

ဤလှုံ့ဆော်မှုဆိုင်ရာ လက်စွဲကို အမြစ်တွယ်နေသော မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ မတရားသည့် တရား‌ရေးစနစ်ကို တစ်လှမ်းခြင်း ခုခံတွန်းလှန်နေမှု၏ အစိတ်အပိုင်းတစ်ခုအဖြစ် တရားခံများ (တရားစွဲဆိုခံရသူများ)၊ ရှေ့နေ များနှင့် ၎င်းတို့ကိုထောက်ခံသော အရပ်ဘက်လူမှုအဖွဲ့အစည်းများက လှုံ့ဆော်မှုဆိုင်ရာ စွပ်စွဲချက်များမှ မိမိကိုယ်ကို ကာကွယ်နိုင်အောင် အား ပေးကူညီရန် ရည်ရွယ်ရေးသားထားခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။သွေးထိုးလှုံ့ဆော်မှုဆိုင်ရာလက်စွဲတွင် (၁) သက်ဆိုင်ရာနိုင်ငံတကာ စံနှုန်း များ၊ (၂) မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအခြေအနေနှင့် ဥပဒေများ၊ (၃) ဖမ်းဆီးခြင်း၊ ထိန်း သိမ်းခြင်း သို့မဟုတ် တရားစွဲဆိုခြင်းခံရပါက သင့်တွင်ရှိသော အခွင့်အ ရေးများနှင့် ရွေးချယ်စရာများ၊ (၄) ဖြစ်နိုင်ခြေ ဥပဒေအရ ခုခံချေပရေး ဗျူဟာများ စသည်တို့နှင့်ပတ်သက်သော လမ်းညွှန်ချက်များ ပါဝင်သည်။ စာမျက်နှာ တစ်ခုစီတိုင်းကို မြန်မာဘာသာဖြင့် ရေးသားထားပြီး ပိုမိုလေ့ လာနိုင်ရန်နှင့် အခြားသူများနှင့် ဆက်သွယ်ပြောဆိုရာတွင် အထောက်အ ကူဖြစ်စေရန် အင်္ဂလိပ်ဘာသာဖြင့်လည်း ထပ်မံဖော်ပြထားသည်။
