Timor-Leste or a democratic alliance for Spring Revolution. Issue 119

Timor-Leste. Most Myanmar people know it as East Timor. The East Timor government stands with the people of Myanmar who are facing a military coup. During the Spring Revolution, the East Timor government have actively engaged with the National Unity Government (NUG) and condemned the military coup.
The military council’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a diplomatic note ordering the Charge d’ Affaires of the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste in Yangon to leave no later than 1 September 2023. It can be regarded as the coup d’état, which is facing huge pressures from international governments, is testing the waters with the international community.
This week, the Burma News International (BNI)-Myanmar Peace Monitor’s (MPM) weekly news review spotlights the East Timor government’s undertakings and stance towards the people of Myanmar during the Spring Revolution.
တီမောလက်စ်တေ သို့မဟုတ် နွေဦးတော်လှန်ရေးအတွက် ဒီမိုကရေစီ မဟာမိတ်
တီမောလက်စ်တေ။ အရှေ့တီမောနိုင်ငံဟု မြန်မာပြည်သူအများစု သိမှတ်ထားကြသည်။ စစ်အာဏာသိမ်းမှုနှင့် ရင်ဆိုင်ကြုံတွေ့နေရသည့် မြန်မာပြည်သူလူထုဘက်တွင် အရှေ့တီမောအစိုးရက ရပ်တည်သည်။ နွေဦးတော် လှန်ရေးကာလ၊ အမျိုးသားညီညွတ်ရေးအစိုးရ (NUG) ကို အရှေ့တီမောအစိုးရက တခုတ်တရဆက်ဆံသည်။ စစ်အုပ်စု၏ စစ်အာဏာသိမ်းမှုကို ရှုတ်ချသည်။
ထို့ကြောင့် ရန်ကုန်မြို့ရှိ တီမောလက်စ်တေသံရုံးမှ သံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံအား ၂၀၂၃ ခုနှစ် စက်တင်ဘာ ၁ ရက်မတိုင်မီ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှ ထွက်ခွာရန် အာဏာသိမ်းစစ်ကောင်စီလက်အောက်ခံ နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာနက အကြောင်းကြား ထုတ်ပြန်ခဲ့သည်။ နိုင်ငံတကာအစိုးရများ၏ ဖယ်ကျဉ်ဖိအားပေးမှုများကို ကြီးမားစွာ ရင်ဆိုင်နေရသည့် အာဏာသိမ်းစစ်အုပ်စုက နိုင်ငံတကာအဝန်းအဝိုင်းကို သွေးတိုးစမ်းလိုက်ခြင်းဟုလည်း မှတ်ယူနိုင်သည်။
ယခုတစ်ပတ် BNI-Myanmar Peace Monitor ၏ အပတ်စဉ်သတင်းသုံးသပ်ချက်တွင် မြန်မာ့နွေဦးတော်လှန်ရေးကာလအတွင်း အရှေ့တီမောအစိုးရ၏ ဆောင်ရွက်ချက်များနှင့် မြန်မာပြည်သူလူထုဘက် ရပ်တည်အားပေးမှုများကို လေ့လာတင်ပြထားပါသည်။
