Myanmar: 15 days felt like 15 years: Torture in detention since the Myanmar coup

Since the military coup in February 2021, the Myanmar military has subjected detainees to torture and other ill-treatments in detention. Amnesty International examines the behaviour of security forces in Myanmar when they arrest, interrogate, and detain individuals suspected of being involved in protests, or relatives of such individuals, vis-à-vis international human rights law and standards after the coup on 1 February 2021.
