Delegation for Political Negotiation

1. On March 1, 2017, the UNFC’s Delegation for Political Negotiation (DPN) and the State Counsellor will be holding a meeting at the National Reconciliation and Peace Center (NRPC) in Naypyidaw, starting from 15:30 hours.

2. On March 3, 2017, the government’s Peace Commission and the DPN are scheduled to hold their fourth round of meeting at the NRPC in Yangon, starting from 10:00 hours.

3. At the said meetings, discussions and consultations on the Nine-Point Proposal made by the UNFC, including matters on the nationwide ceasefire, are to be continued, so that the step to meaningful political dialogue, with guarantee, can be taken.

4. For attending the meetings, ten-person delegation led by head of the delegation Khu Oo Reh has departed from Thailand’s Chiangmai International Airport today, 28-2-2017, for Yangon.
