With the aim of national reconciliation and internal peace, the 21st Century Panglong Peace Conference will be held beginning 31 August 2016, participated by representatives from the Union Government, Hluttaw, Tatmadaw, ethnic armed groups, political groups and social organizations. In this regards, the Myanmar National Human Rights Commission whole-heartily welcomes the holding of the Conference.
